High Fire Risk

Metro Vancouver has informed us of a High Fire Danger Rating for Colony Farm Gardens and Park .

All high risk activity must cease between 1pm to sunset.
These activities include:
-use of gas powered equipment
-use of tools that may emit a spark or flame (no cutting metal)
-use of any open flame or ember-producing equipment such as bbqs or propane stoves

Smoking is not permitted in the park. If you should see someone smoking in the gardens, consider offering a gentle reminder of the fire hazard.
